My latest crochet projects have been a bit adult in nature. Nothing bad, but it does have to do with cannabis, so if that makes you uncomfortable then this isn’t the post for you, I’m sorry to say. Otherwise, let me take you on a tour of my recent creations!
I was commissioned by a local cannabis shop, Shinybud, to make some plushies for their Pride event earlier this month. Specifically a big rainbow bong with their logo down the neck, ans well as an oversized joint. I think they turned out really well!

That sparked a lot of interest, so I made a series of smaller bong plushies to have for sale in Shinybud, including a couple of Pokeball themed ones. The striped ones all have cute faces, because it makes them, well, cute!

It’s a pretty easy pattern, once I worked out the details. I’ll be publishing the pattern soon! For now, you can find these adorable plushie bongs at the downtown Brockville location of Shinybud.
I got a couple of requests of custom bong plushies! First was a big purple striped one, then a really cool goth Hello Kitty one. I’m really happy with how they both turned out!

I never would have imagined my crocheting would lead me to making plushie bongs. I thought I’d be making dragons and frogs, or even hats and bags! And I do intend to make more of those in the future (the dragons and frogs, that is) but for now, I’m having a surprising amount of fun crocheting these interesting and unique plush bongs!
