I’m gonna be honest. I haven’t even looked at the Improvement Hell prompt list in weeks. I don’t know if I’m going to be able to finish it.

Why have I given up on this challenge? Well, I don’t feel like I have given up. I just have taken a break. A… long one. Okay, I guess I gave up on it.

The reason I’m announcing not finishing the challenge is because in just a few days, I want to start Inktober. That’s another drawing challenge, but a much more widely known one that has an official prompt list put out every year. I’ve followed some years, but not every one, and I’d like to give it a shot this year.

The official list has been released, so I’ll show you what it looks like.

I’ll do my best to keep up with the list of prompts, but I don’t have a good track record of that, so I don’t want to make a promise I can’t keep. But I’ll give it a real effort, because this is something I’d like to say I successfully did this year.

I’ll write again in a few days, when October has started and I have my first drawings to share.
