Did you know I have a second blog, for my worldbuilding and creature designs?
It’s not very fleshed-out at the present, but it’s something I’ve been working on, little by little, for years. I’ve been working on it more the last few days and I’ve been having quite a bit of fun with it. I’ve designed a few different creatures that inhabit this world I’m gradually building, and I’ve posted some artwork and “research” on them. I hope that it’ll eventually grow into a full worldbuilding project in some form. I don’t know if it’ll turn into an art book, a video game, a novel, or something else entirely, but I’ve felt a lot of creative inspiration and passion for this project, and having a specific place to put that content is very satisfying.
I’m not completely settled on the name of this world, but the name as it currently exists is Losalith. It was previously called Lostlight – a name derived from my old blog’s name – but I’ve been updating it and making it sound more how I picture it in my head.
As an example, below is one of my creature designs that I’ve been working on. It’s called a Plushmushie, and it’s one of my favourite creatures.

Nothing is fully finished or officially published or anything, of course. It’s still just a fun side project for me right now. Maybe that’s all it’ll ever be, but that won’t stop me from continuing to make creatures and designing this place that brings me joy!
If you’re curious to follow me on this creative journey, you can check out my most recent post there: https://losalith.wordpress.com/2025/01/14/more-on-plushmushies/

I hope you enjoy the development of Losalith as much as I have been!
