More About Kit
My name is Kit Wolf, and I’m a 28-year-old artist from the Brockville, Ontario area with a passion for crochet and illustration. I’m nonbinary, meaning that I’m not a man or a woman, and they/them are my pronouns. I’m also autistic, which gives me a unique perspective that I channel into my creative pursuits.
Early Life
When I was 5 years old, my mum taught me to crochet after my insistent pleas to join in with my older siblings’ lessons. I have always been an avid learner, with a special interest in crochet and visual art. I was drawing since I could hold a pencil, and I’ve always enjoyed dabbling in different crafts.
Crochet is a comfort activity for me. I love to crochet, and I get restless when I haven’t worked on a project for a while. The same restless feeling comes when I don’t create visual art, as well.
Art Education
I took up drawing as a small child, and continued throughout my youth. In high school, I took my first formal art classes, earning Subject Awards for both visual arts and media arts classes.
For my adolescence, I was homeschooled with my two older sisters by our mum, who also ran a quilting and knitting shop, where creativity was greatly encouraged.
After graduating high school, I went on to take many Fine Arts classes in my three years of college experience at St Lawrence College Brockville.
I later went to St Lawrence College in Brockville to further my education. After graduating college, I have started this business to turn my creative passion into a living.
My work tends to be small because I work in size 4 medium yarn that allows a finer level of detail. Each piece is unique and is made with love and genuine passion for the craft!
The main thing that I would say defines me as an artist is my unique outlook and creative mind.

About Yarn Wolf Creations
This business is my personal project, with the help of loved ones, to share my creations with the world.
Naming my business
There are several aspects to why the name is Yarn Wolf Creations: it’s a reference to my last name being Wolf as well as my genuine love of wolves, combined with the fact that working with yarn is one of my favourite things to do.
Yarn Wolf Creations has no physical location outside of craft markets, but I have an online storefront where all of my crocheted products are available. My artwork is also available as prints on various products through RedBubble.
My mission is to spread joy and happiness, one crochet creation or illustration at a time!
