Policies

Definitions

The Artist: me, Kit Wolf, aka Yarn Wolf Creations, who makes the product.

The Client: you, the person with whom the commission or transaction is made with, who receives the product.

General Policies

The Artist retains the right to update these policies at their own discretion, without notice and at any time. The current published policies take precidence over any previous version of the policies, with the word of the Artist having the highest precidence of all.

The Artist owns all content shared on this website, unless stated otherwise. The Artist reserves the ownership of all images, text content, and video posted on this website, unless alternative credit is given by the Artist.

Payment Policies

Commissions must be paid for upfront with a deposit at least 50% of the agreed upon amount, no less. This amount is non-refundable. All discussion for commissions will be done in writing, through email or social media chat, and the Artist will retain copies of all discussions for recordkeeping.

The Artist retains the right to share images of the work, either in-progress or complete, at any time and of all works created, even after payment and delivery of the finished product, with the exception of works that include private details about the Client such as full names, unless agreed upon through discussion with the Client.

Return Policies

The Artist does not accept returns of artwork commissions of any kind. A new commission may be agreed upon to meet the requirements if the original work is deemed unacceptable, but deposit payment will not be returned for work already completed. If full payment was paid for original work, 50% of the total paid will be applied to the new commission.

The Artist does not accept returns of crochet commissions, unless there is a verifiable issue with the original product provided that is the fault of the Artist. The original price will not be refunded. The Artist will provide one of two solutions for the verified issue. Solution 1: correcting the original product, by providing repairs. The Artist will provide these corrections to the original product at no extra cost to the Client. Solution 2: making a new product as agreed through discussion with the Client, upon the Client returning the original product. The new product will be discounted by 50% of the price paid for the original product.

The Artist does not accept returns of non-commissioned crochet products, unless there is a verifiable issue with the original product provided that is the fault of the Artist, and within 30 days of the date of the original sale. The Client must return the product and will either accept 50% of the original price in monetary refund, or an exchange for another product of similar value as agreed through discussion with the Artist.

Art Policies

Any artwork shared on this website, blog, social media, or elsewhere is provided for entertainment and education only. Do not download, modify, or redistribute anything without express written permission from the Artist.

Art commissions are provided for personal use only. The provided artwork is not for commercial use (unless previously agreed upon during the commission discussion) and not to be modified or claimed as your own creation. The signature of the Artist must not be covered up or removed. Credit must be given to the Artist.

Artwork made by the Artist may be used as reference for your own artwork, but only after receiving express written permission from the Artist. Credit must be given to the Artist for using the artwork as reference.

The Artist reserves the right to refuse any work that they deem inappropriate or harmful in any way, or for any other reason.

Crochet Policies

Any images of crocheted creations shared on this website, blog, social media, or elsewhere are provided for entertainment and education only. Do not download, modify, or redistribute anything without express written permission from the Artist.

Crochet commissions are provided for personal use only. The provided product is not for commercial use and may not be modified, resold, or claimed as your own creation. Credit must be given to the Artist when sharing the work with anyone.

Crochet patterns provided by the Artist are for personal use only. Do not claim ownership of the design or resell or redistribute the pattern in any way. Patterns provided by the Artist are not for commercial use, and credit must be given to the Artist when you use the patterns. Modifying the pattern does not pardon you from giving credit, and you must specify that the pattern has been modified.

Giving credit means making a visible note that the pattern came from Yarn Wolf Creations, and optionally also linking to the Yarn Wolf Creations website or official social media accounts.
